The next occupants were the Bryce sisters, Agnes and Margaret. They previously lived at Greenbraehead, Cumnock with their parents William Bryce, a carting contractor and his wife Marion. Their father died in 1905 and by 1911 they had moved to 137 Glaisnock Street. When their mother died in 1915 her death was registered as 2 Barrhill Terrace. The Bryce sisters were dressmakers and opened a Dressmaker & Ladies Outfitter shop, A & M Bryce, at 8 The Square, Cumnock. They were both spinsters and were still living at 2 Barrhill Terrace in 1940. Agnes died there in March 1943 and Margaret died in Auchinleck in 1957.
